Cocktail Reception Provides Relaxing Way to Support Hospice of Palm Beach County

On Wednesday, August 11, 2010, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation will once again host Relax to the Max at Max’s Grille in Mizner Park, as part of Boca Festival Days, a series of fun-filled events held at different locations during the month of August facilitated by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.

For a $25 donation, guests will receive two drinks, hors d’ oeuvres and an opportunity to win an exclusive raffle item. “We are excited to once again host this event,” said Greg Leach, President of Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. “Each year we serve more than 7,000 patients regardless of their ability to pay. With support from the community, through events such as this, we are able to provide “extras” like music or massage therapy in addition to the traditional care we provide.”

Funds raised from this event support the Integrative Therapies Program Hospice of Palm Beach County provides to patients which includes aromatherapy, imagery work, music therapy, palliative massage and reiki.
