Celebrity Filled Weekend A Huge Success for Hospice of Palm Beach County Bookmark and Share

With a packed ballroom and celebrities galore, Hospice of Palm Beach County proudly kicked off their 1st Annual Celebrity Pro-Am weekend. The event, which began at The Breakers Palm Beach on November 20, 2009, treated supporters of Hospice of Palm Beach County to an evening of dancing, mingling and an opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind items in the fabulous silent auction.

“We are very happy with the success of this inaugural event,” said Greg Leach, President of Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. “The community has shown an outpouring of support for our organization this past year. As I see most of those faces here with us this weekend, I am overwhelmed with a feeling of gratefulness to the people in this community who help us do what we do.”

The weekend continued with a day of golf on the incredible Breakers Rees Jones Course at Breakers West. With a sold out roster of foursomes, guests took to the green for a day of fun in the South Florida sunshine while continuing to raise monies for the programs and services Hospice of Palm Beach County provides to the community, including non-reimbursable services such as integrative therapies, one of the Country’s largest music therapy programs, and specialized bereavement services. The winning foursome from sponsor Kool 105.5 took home the top prize.

Sponsors of this fun-filled weekend include: Leisure Time Coins; AT&T; Humana; Dignity Memorial; Ermenegildo Zegna; The Isador S.
