Boca Festival Days A Huge Success for Hospice of Palm Beach County Bookmark and Share

From palliative massage to relaxation training, the Integrative Therapies program at Hospice of Palm Beach County serves the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of patients in their care. And, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 more than 100 guests came out to support these programs of Hospice of Palm Beach County by attending a fundraising cocktail reception at Max’s Grille in Boca Raton as a part of Boca Festival Days.

“We are thrilled with the turnout for this event,” said Regina Di Pietro, Director of Supportive Services at Hospice of Palm Beach County. “We truly appreciate all of the support from the community. Without everyone’s generosity we would not be able to provide these integral services to our patients during their time of greatest need.”

The event took place from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and included cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres donated by Max’s Grille. Guests also had the opportunity to learn about Hospice of Palm Beach County’s Supportive Services and Volunteers Programs, which include a variety of volunteer opportunities. “Not only were guests supporting us tonight,” said Di Pietro. “Many guests requested additional information on our volunteer program. We hope to see many of them volunteering with us in the near future.”
