Jay Robert Lauer Golf Tournament and Ermenegildo Zegna Evening

The annual Jay Robert Lauer Golf Tournament to benefit Hospice of Palm Beach County celebrated its 10th anniversary December 14-15, 2007 at The Breakers Palm Beach. NBC Today co-anchor Matt Lauer served as Honorary Chairman of the event named in honor of his late father, Jay Robert Lauer, who was cared for by Hospice of Palm Beach County more than a decade ago, and Vicki Rautbord was the event’s Chairwoman.
Proceeds of more than $1.5 million in the past nine years have been raised from this tournament and significantly benefited Hospice of Palm Beach County’s patient care programs.

The two-day golf tournament hosted more than 210 players on The Breakers Golf Course.

First place of the golf tournament went to foursome:
Michael Crimi, Marilyn Velde, David Jatlow and Jet Jatlow

The drawing for the MINI Cooper won by:
Steve Hannah from Tennessee

The event concluded with the Ermenegildo Zegna Evening. More than 450 guests enjoyed a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, and dancing to Wes Cox and Encore. A highlight of the evening was the presentation to Matt Lauer of Muhammad Ali signed boxing gloves in honor of the tournaments 10th anniversary.
